The acme threading is turning out flawless👌🏻 This is how a lathe is suppose to thread. Perfectly aligned each and every pass. No follower rest needed for this shaft. The sides of the threads look just a nice as the grind on the carbide insert, almost like it’s a ground thread. The collar, which in this case is the anvil striker's swivel joint, has a friction diameter of 1 in.
