Goa is now preparing to add a spiritual touch to its tourism model by launching a Varanasi-style Ghat Aarti on the banks of the Mandovi River at Narve in Bicholim. Inspired by Varanasi’s world-famous Ganga Aarti tradition, this new project is being developed by the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) to boost cultural and spiritual tourism in the state.
